Joseph Oatis: (9-2-2010) - Talked with Tammy Oatis and she said on August 27th Joe finished the 4 weeks of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation. She said he was back in the emergency room at M.D. Anderson for some side effects of the treatment but was out now and on the way home. She said there was some tissue damage from the radiation and he will have to start over on learning to talk. He would appreciate hearing from his friends. His email address is joeoatis@yahoo.com.

Dan Ramsey, (Email to Forrest 9-2-10) Thanks for the concern. I had a infection in my right leg as well as a blood infection back in February. Both have healed and I am doing great. My wife Nancy had a ruptured appendix back in June and spent most of the summer recovering from the surgery and infection. She is doing great also and is back at work. Thanks for the concern. We both are doing well now.
Randy Sillavan: (Deceased 9-2-2010) Randy now has a fungal infection in his blood stream. Dr is taking out all lines and repositioning them and put Randy on anti fungal meds. This could be a reason for some of his problems. He has gone back into atrial fibrillation, not good but not serious. A cat scan didn't show any bran problems or bleeds but scan would not show any deprived oxygen, if some occurred. His blood pressure is holding which means body functioning. Dr's are starting to talk about long term care for Randy. Pray real hard for Randy and Margie. UPDATE (9-1-10) Randy's condition has turned to critical this afternoon. He does have some bleeding on the brain and the Doctors do not know why. They are going to give him another cat scan with contrast t try and pinpoint the area. Please lift up your prayers for Randy and Margie.
